In response to concerns regarding the Library’s financials, the Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL) is providing annual financial audit and NY State Annual Reports for Public and Association Libraries dating back to 2001.

The documents listed here show that TCPL has always stewarded public funds appropriately and transparently.

Annual Report for Public and Association Libraries data is provided in part by the Finger Lakes Library System, including collection and circulation statistics. Annual reports are completed by March of the following year and available once approved by the State.

Financial audits issued before 2015 were conducted by Ciaschi, Dietershagen, Little and Mickelson, which then merged into Insero & Co. for audits from 2015 forward. Financial audit executive summaries were introduced for the year 2017, so there are no executive summaries before 2017. Annual financial audits are completed in May of the following year.
