Next Chapter Book Club provides the opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to read, learn and make friends in a community setting.

Children will see a short shadow show that models what shadow puppets can do. Then they will use templates, card stock, tape, pencils and other materials to make their own shadow puppet. They can then test it out in the shadow theater!

Children are invited to practice their reading skills by sharing a story with a truly non-judgmental listener -- a dog! Reading sessions will be held Tuesdays from 3-4 p.m. Children who attend 6 sessions will earn a FREE book of their choice!
