Event Description

Learn to write your best essays for school, college applications, and college courses! We will chart a path that allows you to set the goal, do the necessary research, and demonstrate your best work. This is what all your insructors will be looking for from you. We're going to talk about how critical reasoning skills play a vital role in satisfying writing requirements in both high school and college, and how mastering this skill set will help you for the rest of your life--no matter what situations you encounter. We'll use music (Hip Hop, Country, Classic Rock, and Celtic), You Tube videos, and handouts, to help tease out ideas. There will be one Small Group break-out session to help you discover the benefits of discussing writing challenges with your peers. And yes, there will be writing! Plenty of it. My goal is to get you thinking about all the pieces that go into writing, and then putting them together to write your best essays.
