Program Description
About this event:
3...2..1...GO!
Are you ready to virtually race an autonomous robot around the library? In this Fall session of the TCPL Virtual Robotics Club participants will code line follower robots to compete in several racing events held on the Teen Center race track. Participants will be challenged to code a robot car in either C++ or Scratch to take on a rally course, figure eight demolition derby track, and a head-to-head racing circuit. No coding experience required. Each week a short beginner and intermediate friendly video tutorial will be provided on how to code the robot cars in a selected language. Also, every Friday there will be a live meeting on Zoom or YouTube live to discuss the code, chat, and watch the races. The club will use a Google form to collect code and robot modifications.
See you virtually on the track!
