Beat the Summer heat with some fun coding challenges!
This summer the TCPL Virtual Coding club is inviting youth ages 8 - 13 to a weekly Python challenge. At this virtual event, participants will be given a quick tutorial on several bits of Python syntax and then be challenged to use it through solving a puzzle or programming a gaming mechanic. For example, use the for loop to roll a twenty-sided dice twice; then print to the screen the highest of the two rolls. No coding experience required this program invites both the complete beginner and intermediate coder. The TCPL Coding club will meet once a week over Zoom. A link to each meeting will be emailed to the registrants.
