Program Description
About this event:
Do you love coding with Scratch? Or are you excited to learn? Children ages 8-13 are invited to join guest presenter Robert Kong for a three part series on coding with Scratch that will be hosted virtually.
Robert Kong is a local 13 year old, about to enter 8th grade, who enjoys programming and learning more about technology. He began learning how to code when he was six years old. Since then, he has been learning different coding languages, exploring software and hardware. Robert enjoys teaching how to code because he likes sharing the information that he has learned over the years. Robert led a Scratch Coding 101 program for the library during February break, and is excited to run his program for the library during summer break too! Learn more about Robert and his teaching experience here.
To register for this three part class you will need access to the internet, google classroom, and a laptop or desktop computer. Tablets/iPads and phones are not optimal for exploring the content that will be shared. No prior coding knowledge is required to participate.
