Summer Poetry Writing Group

The Summer Poetry Writing Group meets every other Tuesday at the Tompkins County Public Library in the Borg Warner East Room from 5:30pm-7pm to explore writing prompts, workshop a piece, and build community. The summer dates are 6/4, 6/18, 7/2 (Zoom), and 7/16. Registration is encouraged through email or by filling out the program's Google Form.

This program will provide access to those looking to build community, grow as writers, and discover new styles of poetry. Writing is also a therapeutic activity for adults that struggle to find the time and has been beneficial to my own personal growth.  This program at the TCPL will encourage participants to spend time there and browse the collection in their free time.
