About this event:

Restorative Practices Community Space is a meeting to build community through circles, expand knowledge of restorative practices and restorative justice, and practice conferencing role plays. Restorative Practices is an emerging social science, rooted in indigenous practices, which aims to build community proactively, maintain right relationship, and repair harm through reintegrative processes. Any member of the public who would like to build skills and learn more about restorative practices is welcome. 

We will meet on the second Thursday and fourth Saturday of the month (see events calendar for other dates). Sessions will be hosted over Zoom until further notice for COVID-19 safety precautions. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Jeff Godowski joined Cornell University as the Assistant Dean for Flora Rose House in 2018. They have served in various roles in residence life and student affairs throughout their professional career, specifically in the advancement of living-learning community programs, residential curricula, and Restorative Practices. Jeff is a member of the Restorative Practices in Higher Education Learning Collaborative and is a trained facilitator of International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) training curriculum. Jeff facilitates spaces where teams and individuals can practice vulnerability to understand more about themselves and others, opening doors for communication across differences.
