Summer Poetry Writing Group: Writing Through the Senses II with Jada Simone

Meet up with local poets in the Ithaca area to explore fun prompts and workshop poetry, prose, and spoken word pieces.

Jada Simone (also known as a_note_from_jada) is a local Ithaca-based poet and visual artist working in sculpture, painting, and performance mediums. She started performing spoken word at open mics in 2023 and since then has become deeply involved in the Ithaca poetry community by hosting open mics, community conversations, participating in the Ithaca Spring Writes Festival, and sharing monthly prompt challenges via social media. She is most passionate about sharing her love of poetry with others.

This workshop series will meet in person at TCPL for all dates except July 10, which will be virtual. Registered participants will receive a link to join the meeting on Microsoft Teams.
