TCPL is welcoming fall with 3 great book clubs for kids & teens! Our Early Readers Book Club will be reading Orris and Trimble by Kate DiCamillo. This club is for kids in K-2 who have graduated from storytime and are being introduced to “learn-to-read” techniques in school. Our staff select engaging, emerging reader books to help foster the love of books and reading, and to help build social skills. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join us. The club meets September 24 and there are still a couple spots open. Be sure to register ASAP!

Our Tween Book Club is for ages 8 to 12, and will read A Tale Dark & Grimm by Adam Gidwitz. Tween book club continues what we started in our Early Reader book club by offering fun, well-written books to keep that love of reading going, while adding some critical thinking to the mix. And of course, the social aspect of getting to discuss the book and connect with other tweens. Tween book Club meets Tuesday October 15. Registration is open. Reserve your spot today!

Finally, after a long hiatus, we are welcoming Teen Book Club back to TCPL. Readers age 13 to 18 can join us for an appropriately chilling  book for October titled She Is a Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran. Like our Tween Book Club, we want to encourage teens to keep that love of reading for fun going by offering engaging, challenging books that we can discuss when the club meets on Tuesday October 8.
