Join Us for Hold On... Let Me Ask a Librarian! on October 28
The Tompkins County Public Library Foundation is holding a Library Literati virtual quiz show fundraiser on Thursday, October 28 beginning at 7:00 pm, titled Hold On… Let Me Ask a Librarian!
Based on NPR’s popular quiz show Wait Wait…. Don’t Tell Me, Hold On will feature panelists fielding questions about Tompkins County Public Library while the audience on Zoom plays along from home. Local notables Brett Bossard, Susan Currie, Amy Dickinson, Scott Hitz, and Stephen Nunley, along with some familiar TCPL faces, will uncover the Library’s hidden treasures, unusual resources, and surprising, behind-the-scenes stories. Guests will enjoy lively banter and learn something new about TCPL while raising funds to support Library programs and services.
Reserve a ticket with a donation of $25 by going to https://www.tcplfoundation.org/hold-on. Special thanks to sponsoring partners CrossFit Vertical and Silo Food truck.
Instructions and links will be sent after donation is received.
