“Our partnership with VITA and Cornell University for tax preparation is an important part of services the Library offers to the community,” Library Director Leslie Tabor said. “We are happy to be able to continue this essential program that helps ensure people have qualified help for what can be a daunting task.”
TCPL will also have tax forms available at the central service desk in the Library’s location at 101 East Green St. in Ithaca throughout tax season.
Tompkins Area VITA separately offers other services for those making up to $87,000 per year. More information about that program as well as documents to have ready for an appointment are available on the VITA website ithacafreetax.org.
