TCPL Foundation Library Literati are special supporters who enjoy lively social events that benefit TCPL. Our first Library Literati event was our massively popular Library Speakeasy held on October 11, 2019, and in October 2020, Library Literati attended our first-ever Literary Virtual Trivia Night, to much acclaim. Sign up to be the first to hear about upcoming Library Literati events!

Table for One is a trivia triumvirate, with hosts Clayton Covington, Gina Varrichio, and Timothy Weber. Gina and Timothy were regular players at a small, weekly trivia night at Ithaca Bakery in Ithaca, NY. Clayton, who had recently moved to Ithaca, came along to the same trivia night and was quickly adopted by Gina and Timothy’s team. They began attending other trivia events together regularly. Then, the pandemic hit. All our local trivia venues were forced to close in mid-March, 2020.  But what’s a world without trivia?

Clayton, Gina, and Timothy put together an online game for each other. The following week, they made another game and invited others to join them. And made another the week after that. And then every week thereafter. Table for One Trivia was born! Check out their weekly games at www.t41trivia.com.

The Tompkins County Public Library Foundation sustains and strengthens our library by inspiring community support. The Foundation serves as a bridge between the library and the community, encouraging engagement through philanthropy and participation.
