Trans Day of Remembrance

Join Ithaca Pride Alliance, Ithaca College, Cornell University, and the Tompkins County Public Library to commemorate Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance that honors the transgender and nonbinary individuals lost in the last year to antitransgender violence. This event brings community across Ithaca together to mourn the dead and fight for and honor the living. There will be a stone-casting ceremony to call out names of those we have lost, music and/or spoken word performances, and words shared by community leaders.
