Dive into coding at the library and nature center!
Calling all curious minds (ages 11 - 18) interested in coding and the environment! The Tompkins County Public Library is teaming up with the Cayuga Nature Center to offer a one-of-a-kind weekly program where you'll learn to code using real-world data – local air quality information from 2023!
This beginner-friendly club is perfect for those with no prior coding experience. Our instructors, volunteers, and friendly staff will provide hands-on, easy-to-follow guidance as you:
- Jump into Python: Learn the basics of Python programming using the powerful Pandas library to analyze data.
- Meet local experts: Gain valuable insights from Cayuga Nature Center specialists and delve deeper into air quality topics.
- Embark on exciting field trips: Put your newfound coding skills to the test in the real world! (Please note: transportation to field trip locations is not provided by the library or nature center.)
Ready to join the adventure? Registration is required for this exciting series.
