Ready! Set! Robot Battle!
Have you ever wanted to drive a robot from the popular show Battlebots?
The TCPL Robotics Club is inviting youth ages 8 -15 to a robot battle at the Henry Saint John Building Playground. At this event, participants will get the chance to drive antweight battle robots and take a look at their circuits. Antweight is the first weight class in the sport of battle robots, these machines weigh less than 150 grams! In addition to battling, the robotics club will also host a robot soccer match and an obstacle course challenge. The robots used at this event are classified as non-destructive antweights, meaning they will not have any active tools such as a spinner, flipper, or hammer. The club will provide one rental plow bot per participant.
Please sign up for only one of the four available sessions. Each session will be the same. Due to this program being in-person TCPL is required to limit the amount of participation. Parents/guardians of youth ages 11 and younger are asked to stay throughout the whole program. This is an hour-long outdoor program please bring your own water and sunscreen. TCPL requests participants and their parents/guardians wear a mask during this in-person program. A sanitation station will be provided.
If this session is full please check the others for an available seat.
