Program Description
About this event:
Join fiber artist Sarah Gotowka, owner of Luna Fiber Studio for a live demonstration of natural dyeing with her own homegrown plants! Sarah will show students the process of hot bundling silk to create unique, truly one-of-a-kind botanical prints. Students will also have the chance to ask questions about natural dye and other textile processes.
Note that this is not a hands-on workshop so you won't need materials for the demonstration, but we welcome you to try it at home after the presentation and share your creations with us on social media!
