Memoir Reading

Cayuga Lake Books, a local press that has published many upstate New York writers, will present an in-person reading by several contributors to From the Finger Lakes: A Memoir Anthology. The reading will be a celebration of ten years of publishing poetry, essays, and fiction of regional and national interest.  Many of the authors in this recent collection are well known in this area; the contributors will include Mara Alper, Ingrid Arnesen, Carolyn Clark, Anthony DiRenzo, Laura Glenn, and Stephen Paling. Attendees will hear lush memories with familiar local settings, and tales including deep connections with nature and people in the Mediterranean, quiet observations of an aging parent, and encounters with the famous in Rome.
