Program Description
About this event:
How can we create and foster better habitat for birds and biodiversity?
Join the LEGO Group’s Build the Change team and Cornell Lab of Ornithology scientists Monique Pipkin and Benjamin Mirin for a program the whole family can enjoy. Learn how researchers are using creativity and play to understand and solve challenges facing birds and biodiversity.
The Library will livestream the program in our program room. No need to register - just drop in!
Then, use the library's LEGO® bricks to design your own ideal outdoor space for birds and biodiversity. Finally, discover how your family can take your ideas outside and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count, collecting important data used to protect birds around the world.
