About this event:

Join Friends of the Ithaca City Cemetery co-founder Julee Johnson to learn about this city-owned greenspace and its evolution from village burying ground to Victorian "garden of the dead". The tour will include a discussion about burial traditions, landscape features, notable Ithacans, historical use vs. current use, and involve walking on hilly, uneven terrain. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Masks are recommended but not required.
