About this event:
Join local teen Nuala for a henna workshop! Learn how to draw beautiful designs, and how to apply henna to the hands or feet. Henna is a paste created from powdered dry leaves of the henna plant, to create temporary tattoos that stain the skin a rich reddish brown color. Originating from Ancient India, henna tattoos that are drawn on the hands and feet for celebratory and ceremonial events are called "Mehndi." Cultures all over the world use henna in different ways.
Tattoos created with henna last 1-3 weeks on the skin. Teens under 18 should seek parental permission before applying henna on their bodies.
Registration is required for this free workshop, as space and materials are limited.
