About this event:
Hoping to cut your teeth on graphic design but don’t have access to the Adobe Creative Suite? You have some great options!
This workshop will introduce you to the basics of GIMP, a freely available, open source image manipulation application that works a little like Photoshop. You will to learn to use GIMP to work with image files, remove image backgrounds, place text, and apply basic effects to photos.
Before joining us at the workshop, please download the software to your computer at www.gimp.org – you’ll then be all set to get into some cool graphic design basics…for free!
