Tompkins County Public Library is pleased to offer an informative class on the civil service system in Tompkins County and the types of positions found at TCPL on Wednesday, October 9 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in the Library’s Digital Lab.

At “Getting a Job at TCPL,” Jennifer Palmer Schlossberg, TCPL Head of Access and Circulation Services, will describe the library positions that are filled according to civil service procedures, and Laura Granger, Deputy Commissioner of Human Resources for Tompkins County, will go over the civil service system and process.
