About this event:

The Friends of Tompkins County Public Library will hold the annual Fall Book Sale over three long weekends in October, beginning Saturday, October 8, at 509 Esty St, Ithaca. More details are available online at www.booksale.org.

Dates & Hours: Open 10am-8pm, Saturday-Monday, October 8-10 and 15-17, and Saturday-Tuesday, October 22-25.

Location: 509 Esty St, Ithaca. Free parking lot across the street.

Special shopping days: 

  • Senior Day (age 60+ and anyone with a disability): Wednesday, 10/19, 10am-4pm
  • Student Night (age 16+ with school ID): Wednesday, 10/19, 4-8pm

Selection:  Over 220,000 gently used books, comics and graphic novels, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games, and other items donated by community members, organized into 70+ subject categories, including over 40,000 items in the Children’s Section. The Collector's Corner offers rare and antiquarian books, first editions, collectible vinyl records, artwork, vintage toys and games, and more.
