About this event:

Cut loose--literally! Come attempt to make improvisational quilt tops with the women of FLAIR (Finger Lakes Art & Inspiration Retreat) . Bring cotton fabric if you've got it. We shall use the technique described in Sherri Lynn Wood's The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters: A Guide to Creating, Quilting, and Living Courageously.  The website http://daintytime.net/workshops/ gives some examples of these kinds of things.

No rulers needed! There are four machines here so bring yours if you've got one. Bring cotton fabric scraps and pieces to share - some fabric is provided but the more the merrier! We will all leave with...something special. A quilt top, theoretically. Also a renewed sense of our own creative powers!! 

Registration required as space is limited. Ages 18 and up.
