About this event:

Learn how to change your appearance for drag, cosplay, costuming, or any other purpose using makeup and especially contouring. Local drag artists Tilia Cordata and Kitana Scofflaw will be on hand to show you tricks to alter the shape of your face so you can embody any character you can think of! 

Basic makeup and applicators will be available but feel free to bring your own if you have some. If you register and realize you CANNOT attend, please cancel or alert the librarian to allow someone else to take your place.

This is the fourth in our 2019 series, Costume Couture, where teens are invited to design, construct, and customize costume pieces for a wide variety of hobbies such as cosplay, LARPing, Renaissance Faires, or just a general love of costuming. Additional workshops will cover topics such as resin casting, using craft foam or Worbla to create props and armor, basic sewing, fantasy makeup, and more.
