Who should attend? Anyone 18 and over who is authorized to work in the US, desires a career in manufacturing, and is physically capable of doing manufacturing work. (High School diploma/equivalency encouraged but NOT required; Justice Involvement does NOT disqualify you.)

Program summary: Direct to Work (DTW) is an industry career readiness program that prepares individuals for entry-level positions within the manufacturing industry. The program is a full-time, four-week training that includes technical skills curriculum through ToolingU-SME and Transfr VR, team building, manufacturing career readiness and direct job placement.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certified Manufacturing Associate certification (CMfgA) through Tooling U-SME. The CMfgA certificate is a nationally recognized credential designed for individuals new to the manufacturing industry.
