Celebrate Pride Month at TCPL with June's Pride Book Club!

This month, we're reading the multi-award-winning graphic novel, Apsara Engine by Bishakh Som. Apsara Engine is a collection of gorgeously rendered and beautifully told stories. Som reflects upon the trans identity while exploring themes of sci-fi, mythology, and humanism. "...[T]his book is a testament to how the trans experience can teach us entirely new ways of imagining our humanity" (NPR.org).

We will meet and discuss this book Friday, June 28th, 3:30-5:30. Sign up for your copy today – space is limited!

Registration is required, and books will be provided for participants. If you don't need a physical copy, just note when you sign up that you won't need the library to provide one.
