Join TCPL in welcoming renowned reporter and author Maia Szalavitz. Maia was raised in upstate New York, and is able to offer first-hand accounts on the impacts of addicition. Her book, Undoing Drugs, illuminates the power and history of the Harm Reduction movement, and makes a strong argument for Harm Reduction based policy as a path forward. Free copies of her book will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

This program is part of TCPL's Information Saves Lives project, and is funded by the Tompkins County Opioid Task Force grant, as well as the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation.
