About this event:
Come meet the author of our Pride Month Book Club book, Bishakh Som!
Som is an artist, illustrator, and writer, whose works have appeared in the New Yorker, Buzzfeed, the Boston Review, and the Brooklyn Rail, to name a few. Her books include Apsara Engine, Spellbound: A Graphic Memoir, and The Prefab Bathroom: An Architectual History. Som also contributed to We're Still Here: An All-Trans Comic Anthology. Som describes her work as investigating 'the intersection between image and text, figure and architecture, architecture and landscape.' She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
