About this event:

Anime your Way is a step by step anime drawing program that teaches anyone to create their very own anime character from scratch!  Using basic shapes and through simple exercises, participants will make creative drawing decisions and begin to develop their artistic style! No drawing experience needed.

Supplies will be provided. 

Carlos Nieto III  has been traveling the US for 12 years presenting art programs at schools, libraries, women's centers, jails, and juvenile detention centers in various states (and 2 visits to Canada in 2018). He also works for Children's hospital Los Angeles as an  Artist in residence, since 2003. Prior to that, he worked as a layout artist on the Simpson's TV show (1998 - 2000) Carlos is a mostly self taught artist and encourages others to follow their passion and create!
