  Download audiobooks, ebooks and music to your computer or portable device with the OverDrive digital download service. 
• Get a Library Card Online
  New users can register for a Tompkins County Public Library card online.  The temporary card number provides immediate access  to many of TCPL’s databases and the ability to place holds on library materials.  Once you visit us in person, you will receive a permanent card and access to books, DVDs, magazines, audiobooks and in-house databases.

  Visit our collection of librarian-recommended websites for homework help and answers about everyday curiosities. 
• Alexander Street Music & Video Collections
  These online collections include video and sound recordings.  The video collections include American historical events, operas, theatre, and dance.  The sounds collections include American, classical, and world music.
• MANGO Languages
  Try this online language-learning system and learn conversation skills for a wide variety of languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Greek, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. Mango uses real-life situations and actual conversations to more effectively teach a new language and learn how to communicate.

  Check out this online collection of animated, talking picture books.  It includes a collection of full-length, unabridged classics in audio format and a small collection of books in French, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.

  PowerPAC, the library catalog, allows you to search for books, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks, including materials at other libraries in the Finger Lakes Library System.

  Access your library account online to view items you have checked out and when they are due back, renew materials, review and/or cancel hold requests, check for fines and fees, save your reading history, and create saved searches.
