Want a chance to win great prizes? Want to read what YOU want and not what someone else is telling you to read?? Participate in the Tompkins County Public Library Teen Summer Reading Challenge for all of this and more!
Register for TCPL’s Summer Reading Challenge and receive a free book of your choice! Come into the library and give us your name, school, grade (in the fall), and e-mail address. Contact Teen Services Librarian Regina at email@example.com if you have any questions about registration.
Pick up a game board at the library when you register or print one off here (COMING SOON!). Cross off the days that you read at least 20 minutes. Minutes can roll over from do-to-day within a week but NOT from week-to-week. After every 7 days of reading you can bring the game board in for extra chances to win!
Turn in your board at the end of summer to receive your free reusable 24oz water bottle and, of course, raffle tickets for the BIG prizes.
Support for the 2015 Summer Reading Program comes from the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation thanks to funding from the Harmon Foundation, the Brooks Family Foundation, the Phyllis and Charles Brodhead Memorial Endowed Fund and the Michael Kammen Children’s Fund.
We have summer reading programs people of all ages. Visit our adult and children's programs here:
