If you’re in grades 6-12, like to read books or comics, and want to meet other people your age that do too, we’ve got two different clubs that you’ll love!
This club meets on the third Wednesday of every month to choose and discuss books that YOU want to read. Spend an hour chatting each month with other book lovers about a title that you’ve chosen (you even get to keep the book!). Snacks, refreshments, and the next month’s read are provided at each meeting. Don’t worry if you missed a meeting – contact Teen Services Librarian Regina at email@example.com or 272-4557 ext. 274 or visit the Youth Services Reference Desk to pick up the current book club pick!
Meeting dates and the title we’ll be discussing:
At every meeting there’s a chance for members to bring in and talk about a graphic novel, comic book, or manga that they recently read. We love to share!
The Teen Services Librarian will be choosing group read titles which exemplify a specific type of comic. This club provides a great way for people new to comics, graphic novels, and manga to get an overview of all the different styles available.
For people already familiar with comics, there’s a chance to share your favorite comics with friends, as well as learn about new genres you might not read yet! Don’t worry if you’ve missed a meeting, new members are always welcome and you can pick up a copy of the current group read at the Youth Services Reference Desk.
Snacks, refreshments, and your very own copy of the group read are provided. Contact Teen Services Librarian Regina at firstname.lastname@example.org or 272-4557 ext. 274 for more information.
