Teen Summer Reading Program

Game Card Instructions

Sign-up for summer reading June 30th through August 11th in the Youth Services Department or by completing the online form with your full name, age, grade you are entering in the fall and school you are attending. Print yourself a copy of the game card so you can track your summer reading. Your game card must also have your full name, age, grade you are entering in the fall and school you are attending.

Stop by the library to find great summer reading choices, and get a reading log, bookmark and a booklist. Your game card will be stamped for each activity you complete, every time you visit the library.

Read six books in six weeks (June 30th through August 11th) to receive a certificate and a cool prize. Your game card will also be entered in an additional prize drawing. (All game cards must be faxed, sent, dropped off, or e-mailed to the library by August 11th.)

• All k-5 children may join.
• Register at the library in the Youth Services Department or online @ www.tcpl.org/summer.
• Read 6 books to qualify for a certificate and prize.
• Write the TITLE of each book on the game card and reading log.
• Completed game cards will be entered in a prize drawing.
• Reading logs will be your own record of reading.

Please drop off or email the finished game cards no later than August 11th, 2008. Game cards must have your full name, grade you are entering in the fall, and your school. sorry, game cards can not be accepted after August 11th when the program ends.
