Fines & Fees

Different types of books and media may have different loan periods. Please refer to the Circulation Policies chart for detailed information.

  • Please return items on time.
  • Borrowing privileges are prevented if fines and/or fees exceed $5.00, or if you have more than 10 overdue items on your card.
  • Overdue notices are mailed or emailed after 10 days. After 30 days, you will be mailed a bill for the replacement of the overdue item, plus an unrefundable processing fee.  After 6 months, the Library will not be able to accept the item back.  A personal copy cannot substitute for a lost item.
  • You can pay your fines with a debit card, credit card or paypal. Login to your library account on the Library PowerPAC catalog at home or from a computer terminal in the library. More information on paying fines and fees online is available through the online catalog's Help menu or through the full list of "How Do I ... " topics (click on Fines and Fees toward the bottom).
