Tompkins County Public Library is a core community service. We provide free and open access to services, resources, and programs that foster literacy, cultural appreciation and personal growth and community connections.

We provide more than 244,000 items in our handsome facility, and open the doors to the rest of the world via free Internet access and interlibrary loans.

To help you navigate our virtual sea of resources, we employ professional librarians who welcome your questions and challenges. We serve children, teens, adults, seniors and those with special needs of all kinds.
