Class Visits @ the Library

Classes and groups are always welcome to visit and use The Tompkins County Public Library during library hours.

We want your visit to be pleasant and productive. Please plan to accompany your class or group when they come to the library.

If your class or group will require special attention from library staff (story time, library orientation, assistance with using the library's resources), here is how you can help us prepare:

Please make arrangements at least two weeks in advance. This will enable us to find a convenient date and time when library staff will be available to assist you.

We need to know:

• Name of School or Organization
• A contact person and a phone number where they may be reached
• Number in your class or group
• Grade level and ages of students (for classes)
• Special assistance needed

Library staff members conduct our tours. Contact us about a tour!
