About the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation

Founded in 1993, the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission is to provide financial support and benefits to the Tompkins County Public Library, enhancing opportunities for the library's continued growth and service to the entire community. A separate entity from the Friends of the Library and the Tompkins County Public Library with its own board of directors, mission and by-laws, the Foundation enlists the involvement of individuals, families, foundations, businesses, organizations, trusts and estates in support of the public library.
