Poetry at TCPL - Call for Poetry 2018

We are looking for short poems written by local poets. These poems will be featured on cards that we give away to community members to celebrate Poem in Your Pocket Day on April 26. In 2017, we distributed 1500 poems to the community!

Poets are invited to take part in a Poetry Open Mic on Friday, May 4 from 4-5:30 in the Ezra Cornell Room.

Submit a poem for Poem in Your Pocket Day 2018!

Submission guidelines:

Poems must be no longer than 16 lines.

There is a limit of two poems per poet.

Poems must address the theme of Identity.

All poems that meet the above criteria will be featured in our Poem in Your Pocket Day.

Poems can be dropped of at the Learning and Information Services Reference Desk or submitted online. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 23.
