Curator Dan Larkin, Associate Professor and program chair of the BFA Fine Art Photography program in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology has chosen to present the work of nine artists and writers with a connection to the Saltonstall Foundation and Artist Colony in Ithaca. The works in a variety of different media all describe, depict and are inspired by Ithaca and the surrounding landscape.

A reception with talks by the artists and a poetry reading by Fran Markover  will be held in conjunction with Gallery Opening Night on August 5 from 5 – 7 pm.  The poetry reading will begin at 6pm.

The Curator

Dan Larkin is an Associate Professor and program chair of the BFA Fine Art Photography program in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In the spring of 2006, Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester hosted "Photographs 1995 – 2005," a mid-career survey of his work. In the summer of 2008 he was an artist-in-residence at the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts in Ithaca, NY
