Introduction
By popular request, the Tompkins County Public Library hosts the 7th annual Community Read. The library brings the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, March, by Geraldine Brooks to Ithaca and Tompkins County.
Copies of March are now available in the library for patrons to check out. Additional copies are also available from the community libraries in Caroline, Danby, and Lansing, from the rural libraries in Dryden, Groton, Newfield, and Trumansburg, and can be borrowed through the Finger Lakes Library System. Extra copies of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and Eden’s Outcasts: the Story of Louisa May Alcott and Her Father by John Matteson are also available at TCPL.
All area libraries also have extra copies of Cornell’s New Student Reading Project’s selection, Lincoln at Gettysburg, by Garry Wills.
For more information about the Community Read, please contact Sarah Glogowski at 272-4557 ext. 255 or sglogowski@tcpl.org.
